Bryan Fletcher

Bryan Fletcher serves as Vice President and Middle Market Relationship Manager at Fifth Third Bank, where he works with commercial and industrial clients across the San Diego region. His career in finance spans more than a decade, including roles in commercial banking at Western Alliance Bank and equity sales and trading at Credit Suisse in New York. He also brings public-service experience as a former San Diego County Civil Service Commissioner, where he served as both President and Vice President of the county's final appellate body for employee matters.
Bryan's path to finance was anything but conventional. Before earning his master's degree from Indiana University and beginning his career on Wall Street, he spent four years in the National Football League as a member of the Indianapolis Colts, winning a Super Bowl championship in 2006. His experiences have taken him across dozens of countries and through a wide range of industries, cultures, and professions, which is a breadth of perspective that has shaped who he is and how he shows up for his community.
Fluent in Spanish, Bryan has long been committed to mentoring young people, from speaking to students during his football career to addressing young emerging leaders across the United States and Mexico. He currently serves on the board of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) San Diego.
A resident of Oceanside, Bryan was drawn to the MiraCosta College Foundation by its work creating opportunity for students in one of the country's most challenging economic environments. As a Board Member, he hopes to help propel students toward futures they are fully capable of achieving.
