The MiraCosta College community has an impressive culture of philanthropy. Faculty and staff give upwards of $80,000 each fiscal year, to support the students on our own campuses. 

If you are a MiraCosta College employee and would like to join this culture of philanthropy, please fill out this form and send it to foundation@miracosta.edu to begin your payroll giving. 

Alternatively, you can choose to give to any program through a recurring credit card donation.

Gifts of stock and marketable securities can have a remarkable impact. When transferring stock or securities from a brokerage account, donors receive a charitable donation equal to the security's market value, which will support students and campus programs.

Donors can use their established Donor Advised Funds (DAF) to support students and campus programs, or designate MiraCosta College Foundation as a beneficiary of your donor advised fund.

To make a grant or gift to MiraCosta College Foundation:

1. Request a grant distribution through your DAF sponsor.
2. Be sure to use MiraCosta College Foundation’s EIN # 95-6047779.
3. Donations will support the Annual Fund, which is applied to greatest current needs, or another fund established. 
4. Indicate frequency: One-time donation or recurring (monthly, annually, etc.).

Donors can support MiraCosta College students and campus programs by donating unwanted vehicles through our partnership with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services).

CARS will sell your donated vehicle, and proceeds from the sale will go directly to MiraCosta College Foundation. The process is hassle-free, as CARS handles everything, including vehicle transport. CARS accepts donations of cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, ATVs, RVs and airplanes.
