MiraCosta College Resilience Fund
Every day, students need immediate support for basic and emergency needs to succeed in school.
Students often work multiple jobs to make ends meet until completing their education. A sudden job loss or emergency can leave a student with no option but to quit school.
The average student emergency can be overcome with $500 per student.

Meet Syona Menard
“I am a single mother. I have three kids that I support all by myself. As a former foster, that means no grandparents, no uncles and aunts, it's just me. I have been immensely successful these past three semesters and I can say that is because I did not have the stress of if I could pay this bill or get gas to make it to class. That is where all the generosity comes in.”
