Philanthropist of the Year

Bi-annually MiraCosta College Office of Advancement and College Foundation recognizes its donors made up of faculty, staff, community members, and corporate partners through the Philanthropist of the Year Award.

Awardees made of MiraCosta’s internal audiences are recognized in the Spring at the College’s Annual recognition event, the Spring Celebration of Excellence. In the fall, outside awardees are recognized at the Annual Community Leaders Breakfast: Report to the Region.

Awardees are determined based on their philanthropic giving, longevity of support, and reach of support (want a different word) to student resources and campus programs.
