Dorothy Benson

Dorothy Benson, an attorney for more than two decades, works at the law firm of Antonyan Miranda. She also worked as a law lecturer for a nationwide bar review company based in Chicago and worked with the Conviser Charitable Trust-Foundation, a legal foundation education group based in Chicago.

Benson’s involvement in legal education and her connections with philanthropists through the Conviser Foundation led to her interest in serving on the MiraCosta College Foundation board. She values the importance of education and wants to support students who have the desire to get an education but need financial assistance.

Benson, an Encinitas resident, received her bachelor's degree in Political Science/Philosophy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and earned her law degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego.
